Here’s what to do:
Select a short story in our eReader that we have NOT studied in class. Yes, it can be a different story by one of the authors. (Twain, Crane, Bierce, Welty, Faulkner, Hemingway, O’Connor, or one of the modern authors at the last portion of the eReader). Yes, it can be a story you have read in a previous class. IT MUST BE FROM THE READER. Read it and complete a short 2-page analysis of the work. Apply at least 1 of the literary strategies you learned in ENG 1123 (formalist, historical, biographical, cultural, psychological). Add 2 quotations from the source work AND 1 quotation from an EBSCOHost journal article.
Use MLA9 formatting standards and be sure to include the appropriate works cited page. Using MyBib and Grammarly is highly suggested!
