Write a literary analysis on a selection(s) of literature from the textbook. YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE A LITERATURE SELECTION YOU ALREADY WROTE ON THIS SEMESTER. After choosing a literary piece, then choose a literary criticism to focus the paper on. Please read the entire document thoroughly to understand the requirements for this essay. This paper is worth 30% of your total grade.
Length: 1200-1500 words
Sources Required: Primary source(s), which is your literary piece; 3-5 secondary sources. Do NOT use “wiki, “shmoop,” “enotes,” “spearknotes,” etc.
Quotations Required: 5-7 from the primarcy source(s); at least 1 per secondary source. Total quoted material should not exceed 30-35% of your paper, so be selective in what you quote, and do not insert “chunks” of quotations.
