Critical Assessment of “Effects of an Exercise Program on Physical Function and Quality of Life in Older Adults with Chronic Low Back Pain: A Randomized Controlled Trial” Introduction: The article “Effects of an Exercise Program on Physical Function and Quality of Life in

Perform a critical assessment of the article attached, speaking to their quality and adherence to good research practices  using appropriate checklists/standards such that laid out by the BMJ.
An introductory paragraph should summarize the article. Then introduce (and reference) the appropriate checklist (a different one for each study design) that you will be using to perform your review. You could set up your review as a list, using a heading from each of the items in the checklist with sentences or bullet points below each to talk about whether the study accomplished that task well, only did a half-way job, or failed to mention it entirely. Support your statements with the reason. Some checklists can be very long to cover a wide range of potential issues, some of which may not be applicable to your study. If this is true then, you can write N/A and include the reason (ie because it relates only to prospective design and your study is retrospective). Finally, be sure to include a “Lessons Learned” paragraph 5 pages double spaced should suffice, but there’s no limit The two sample papers that are attached may help as you get started. Including your checklist for each article is highly recommended, though that wouldn’t be including in your total page count.
Finally, discuss how the study contributes to our understanding of the topic and be sure to include a “Lessons Learned” paragraph (4-5 pages double spaced should suffice, but you are welcome to go a bit longer).
