The goal of this project is to identify a potential real estate investment, prepare an investment proposal, and present your proposal to the class via a narrated PowerPoint presentation uploaded to Canvas. Your proposed investment must be for the acquisition of an existing development (versus a new development). The source of your development can be the local broker community, the Internet, the Wall Street Journal, or your own contacts.
When preparing your presentation, assume that your audience is a group of potential investors/lenders. The goal of your presentation is to convince them to fund your project. Therefore, your presentation should have sufficient detail for them to determine if the project is viable. However, it should not be longer than 20 minutes. You will also likely want to make use of graphics in a way that captures the attention of your audience without being overwhelming.
