Title: Exploring Nonverbal Communication: A Comparative Analysis of Two Chapters

Intro: (appx. 1/2 page). Tell me the two Chapters you chose, and, describe which issue or fact or element of each author’s approach to nonverbal communication you found most interesting or novel. Be specific; don’t only state “I like his approach” or “his approach was most scientific.” You need to explain why. Thus “His approach was most scientific because he…” or “I like his approach because he …”
Commonalities: (appx. 1 page). Describe 2 guiding principles or other aspects of nonverbal communication that each of your two author’s chapters have in common with each other. Be specific here too, and keep it focused on the nonverbal stuff. Are there assumptions they share? How do they assess or prove things?
Differences: (appx. 1 page). Describe 2 guiding principles or other aspects of nonverbal communication that each of your author’s chapters differ from each other. Be specific…different assumptions? Models of human nature? Situational factors?
Contemporary synthesis: (appx. 1 page). Describe which of the two chapter authors you selected had the most effective application of nonverbal communication. Why do you think that is so? And finally: How might that author be helped or hindered by advances in Artificial Intelligence? Give one reason how AI might help them, and one reason why it might hinder their work. (e.g., written accounts, nonverbal behavior analysis, faking investigations, identifying killers, product marketing, diagnosing patients, or whatever -ANYTHING you can think of even if tangentially related). Make sure to back up your reason with at least one fact from either the text / book of readings / lectures from our Nonverbal Communication course. Also make sure that you keep the focus on nonverbal communication aspects, and the science of it all, as they apply to the practical issue. If you use material from Chapter 18 of the text (the synthesis chapter) make sure to cite that as the place where you got the insight; however, you need to come up with your own insights too.

“Exploring Nonverbal Communication: A Comparative Analysis of Popular Press and Scholarly Research”

I need you to add to an already started paper, I already summarzied the popular press article. “The Popular Press Analysis Proposal – 1” is what I need you to add to. I need the two scholarly articles summarized and then related back to the popular press article. I will attach the assignment instructions from my professor. The PPA Final Analysis Sample is what the end assignment should look like.
“The final analysis builds on the proposal. In this assignment you should fully and clearly summarize all utilized resources (the popular press article and two scholarly journal articles). Then you will discuss whether the scholarly research supports or refutes the claims, generalizations, or assumptions about nonverbal communication in the popular press article. You should make explicit, clear connections between the popular press article and the scholarly articles.”
Cuddy.pdf and 10FINALPeleckisetal are the two articles that need to be summarized and related back to the initial popular press analysis.

Title: Annotated Bibliography: Examining the Impact of Incarceration on Families and Communities in “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson

An annotated bibliography is a list of sources (books, articles, websites, etc.) with annotations about each source. An annotated bibliography is sometimes a useful step before drafting a research paper, or it can stand alone as an overview of the research available on a topic, sometimes even referred to as “qualifiers”.
Each source in the annotated bibliography has a citation – the information a reader needs to find the original source, in a consistent format to make that easier. These consistent formats are called citation styles, for example: APA (American Psychological Association) for social sciences.
Formatting Guidelines APA:
1” margins
Annotations are indented half an inch (.5”).
Font choices/size and include:
Calibri 11
Arial 11
Lucida Sans Unicode 10
Times New Roman 12
Georgia 11
Double spaced
Page numbers top, right hand side beginning on the title page.
Organized alphabetically by author’s last name or equivalent.
Start annotation on the next line after the citation (still indented).
Follow your instructor’s guidelines for length and number of annotations.
Requirements:
Please choose one of above listed scholarly academic research articles:
Create an extended Annotated Bibliography which will include: APA Reference citation, summary paragraph (main idea/purpose), analysis paragraph (key term/concept/phrase), and synthesis paragraph [CONNECT W/ our class memoir: Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson].
Each paragraph will be approximately 7-12 sentence, while meeting APA writing style requirements (past tense, no contractions, reduce biased language, no personal pronouns).
