Imagine that you are the Protocol Officer of a subsidiary company in country A1, B1, or C1. A business delegation from the parent company in country A2, B2, or C2 is about to make a 3-day official visit to familiarize itself with the working of its subsidiary. You need to prepare a paper (a Note) for the Management in which you make a recommendation for a detailed programme, indicate the most important tasksahead of and during the visit, and call the attention to special etiquette or protocol features to be taken into consideration. Your paper must be approved by the Management.
You may select from the following pairs of countries:
A1-A2: USA-Japan
B1-B2: Italy-India
C1-C2: Sweden-Saudi Arabia
The part of your essay regarding the programme may be imaginary, however, in the part related to cultural aspects, you must refer to your readings and, accordingly, you must provide proper citation and referencing. The Harvard style referencing (in-text and after text) technique must be applied. Your references should include at least two academic sources.
