“Falling Birth Rates: Why More People are Choosing to Not Have Children”

Demonstrate the ability to create a final project that uses both research-based and personal content while using presentation software to communicate with an intended audience. I’ve already started the research, just need it to be written asap. Use the sources provided (besides the apus library one since it is only for students)

Part I: Topic – Why are more people choosing to not have children?
For my project, I have decided to write a paper on falling birth rates. Not only in the United States, but in other countries. As someone who is in a child-free by choice marriage, my wife and I have our own reasons as to why we don’t want children. At least right now or the foreseeable future.
For us, it’s about how expensive it is to raise a child; and selfishly not wanting to share our life yet.  Additionally, my wife has her own personal reasons as to not want to experience pregnancy or childbirth right now. Which she’s entitled too since she would be the one creating the life.
However, I would like to do some research on why others are choosing to be childless and how this affects birth rates. I will be using the United States and South Korea as examples. I say South Korea because of their ‘4B’ movement. Women in Korea are apparently fed up with the men and have been renouncing dating, intimacy, and pregnancy. This movement has made a difference in birth rates; some South Korean schools even report that they do not have 1st grade children. Meaning in the five years since the movement has started, the women in Korea have been able to erase an entire class.
I’d like to learn more and expand my understanding on this subject. This relates to my life directly as someone who doesn’t want children and is married to someone who feels the same way.
