Title: Understanding the Difference between Arrest Warrants and Search Warrants

Briefly describe the difference
between an arrest warrant and a search warrant.

What are the three essential
components of an arrest warrant or a search warrant?

Compare the meaning of probable
cause in an arrest warrant to the meaning of probable cause in a search
warrant.
4.     
Why do you think a search warrant
requires probable cause that the items to be seized are in the location to be
searched, but an arrest warrant does not have the same requirement?

“Exploring Criminal Procedure: Three Hypothetical Fact Patterns and Analysis”

Semester Assignment:
Within this Module there are three (3) attached PDF files each containing a separate fact pattern and instructions for the student regarding how to complete the assignments.  
Students are required to complete all three (3).
Each of the three  (3)  hypothetical fact  patterns involve various Criminal Procedure issues  which the students are expected to review and submit a written analysis about.
Instructions regarding length, format and content of each assignment are included within the PDF files for each fact pattern. Students are expected to follow the directions outlined in each. 
Students are expected to review all three (3) fact patterns and submit a written analysis for all issues and questions posed therein following the instructions outlined in each fact pattern. Also, as long as the directions are adhered to, creativity is strongly encouraged when crafting your responses. 
Students may turn in their assignments at any time during the course, but no later than April 8, 2024. 
Again, the final due date for this is April 8, 2024. Absent good cause, NO papers will be accepted after this date. 
Grading for total Assignment will break down as follows:
40% of the grade will be based on Content;
30% of the grade will be based on Supporting Argument, Detail and Persuasiveness;
20% of the grade will depend on Coherence; and
10% of the grade will depend on Convention (APA formatting)
