a. Try “Google scholar” or “PubMed” and search for a peer-reviewed scientific article that has been published regarding that particular ingredient. Try searching for “Creatine Monohydrate”, not “

National Library of Medicine, FDA, CDC, National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Food and Nutrition Information Center, The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Evidence Analysis Library (eatright.org), ACSM, Office of Dietary Supplements, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
b. Summarize your reading for the general population as if you were asked by a Health/Athletic Magazine to write a column about this ACTIVE INGREDIENT for its readers. Make the column fun and interesting for its physically active readers. Please use the following sub-headings:
i. Title. (make it catchy for readers, but illustrates your direction for the column.
ii. Who. (Typical people/athletes that would be interested in this supplement/Active ingredient)
iii. What. What is the general idea surrounding this supplement/product/or active ingredient. Please write 5-8 sentences describing the claims to the product, how it is projected to work, and any biochemical mechanisms.
iv. The science behind it: What has research found so far? Any evidence that is works for this population? What is the needs for athletes/physically active people? Has there been a conclusive opinion on the product? What is the controversy? Is there any position statement? Are there any recommendations for the consumer? Evaluate the claim using the information you gather from this paper(s)
v. Suggestions for the readers. This section is where you let your creativity shine. It can be food recommendations that can shine for the reader, recipes, dosages for efficacy, toxicity,

· Typed written, double space, Times New Roman, font 12, page number,1-inch margins.
· Cover page: course number, your name, title of assignment, date due
· Paragraph on engagement with sales rep, discussion of product.
· Research “Column” Should be interesting and reference your peer-reviewed publication on your assigned topic.
· Reference page: APA style, include your peer-reviewed publication FULL-TEXT (not just the abstract)
· Limit to no more than 4 pages, excluding the cover and reference pages
