This week, you will begin working on your professional ethics statement. It is due at the end of Week 7. This statement will sum up your ethical views within the context of your chosen profession. This could apply either to your current career or one you wish to pursue in the future. As you write this statement, you’ll want to consider the following questions.
What are your most strongly held values?
Based on your research, what types of ethical challenges are common in your profession?
Which of your ethical beliefs will inform your treatment of your customers or clients?
Which of your ethical beliefs will inform your treatment of colleagues, such as your supervisor or employees you manage?
How will you resolve ethical dilemmas?
Assignment Requirements
Length: At least 600 words
Format: Current edition of APA style, including a title page and a references page
Research: Cite at least three credible sources that highlight ethical challenges in your chosen profession. Note that the Assignment Connection in this week’s lesson will provide you with tips on how to find relevant sources.
