Thesis: Ethics and potential negligence are vital considerations in the sale of dangerous products because they directly impact the consumer and the company in multiple ways. This paper will examine the ethical dimensions and potential negligence involved in the sale of dangerous products within the automotive industry, focusing on case studies of General Motors (GM) and Toyota. This paper seeks to understand and highlight similarities and differences in corporate responsibilities, regulatory compliance, and consumer safety through ethical theories and relevant legal frameworks such as the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (NTMVSA).

Conclusion – sum it all up – usually about 1/2 to 1 page
