Legal Environment of Business Semester Project
1. Use your text and outside sources to document the Law of Contracts and relate it to a case of your choice (with the exception of Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball Co. – do not use this case).  Cases can be found by searching “Breach of Contract Case Examples.”  A great resource for Contract examples is: https://www.justia.com/law-schools/justia-case-law-outlines/contracts-cases-outline/
Once you find a case you can search the case itself for more specific details.
Your essay should include:
• An introduction to contract law, including the type of contract detailed in your case
• Formation of the contract
• A discussion of capacity to form a contract
• Discharge of the contract
• Remedies for breach of the contract
2. You will prepare a minimum of a six-page report (including Title Page and Reference Page) of your findings in the following outline:
a. Cover Page – showing your name and the name of your case.  
b. Body – Introduction and description of your case in relation to contract law items as listed above. 
c. Conclusion – actual case decision should be discussed as well as your interpretation had you been the judge. 
d. Include a copy of the case as a supplement to your paper – it does not count toward the page minimum requirement.
3. Research must be collaborated into a six-page typed report.

b. 1” margins
c. footnote sources or provide a Reference page
d. 12-point font – Times New Roman
