included in page count). For this paper, you will be writing about either a
specific group of rural people, or a rural issue that you find interesting. For this project, you will look at a social,
environmental, or economic issue/problem that affect rural people and
places. You will need to discuss what
the issue/problem is, how widespread it is, who it affects, and possible
solutions. For example, you could talk
about rural poverty, migration, healthcare access problems, or the loss of farm
labor jobs.

For my Rural People/Rural Issues Project assignment, I am choosing to write about the Rural Issues Project. For my topic, I am going to write about farm poverty and how it affects farmers’ everyday lives. I may change this up a little bit but I am definitely going to keep the farm poverty issue a part of it. I know that this is a big issue for a lot of farmers/rural communities so I want to be able to do some more research on it to understand it more and what these people go through. I am going to write about farmers who are in poverty because of low income but high expense rates.
