Select an article or power point
Find the four most imporrant ideas in the article. 
Find the four most important concrete facts in article.  
Paraphrase the most important points.  Combine sentences so that one sentence contains as much information as possible.  Combine with facts for good information.   
Make sentences as short and simple as possible.  Do not make any general statements.

Create a Power Point 
Create a slide  in power point  that summarizes  your main points in your own words (paraphrase).  
Create citation 
Select a visual for your slide or essay.  Decide whether you need a map, graph, or human interest graphic.   Insert. Cite source.  Make sure that your visual adds new information about the problem you are reporting on.  It could be a human interest photo, a graph, a map, or a cartoon.
