Assessment of Risk Management at Global Systemically Important Financial Institution: A Case Study

Instructions on Assessment:
To answer the questions below, you must choose one ‘Global Systemically Important Financial Institution’ to provide examples using their latest Annual and Pillar 3 reports. When answering both questions, you are required to demonstrate how the risks within each question interact.
1)         In the context of the most recent international regulatory frameworks, critically evaluate the role of the bank’s asset-liability committees (ALCOs) in measuring and managing interest rate and liquidity risk. To support this, you are required to calculate and interpret appropriate measurement techniques.
2)         Using literature and regulatory risk measurement requirements, evaluate your chosen bank’s operational risk management performance within the current challenging banking environment. In response, construct a fraud risk assessment framework using real world and future potential exposure examples.
Assessment structure guidelines are as follows:
·      Your assignment can be in the form of a report, but you should not separate all the individual risks.
·      Length maximum of 3000 words (with a +/- 10% tolerance level) must be stated.
·      Font – Arial 12, the whole document being fully justified.
·      Titles and headings should be in bold. Section headings should be numbered, e.g. 3.1.
·      Quotations of more than two lines must be indented and in italics with the reference and page number stated. Shorter quotes should be in italics but do not need to be indented.
·      Tables and figures should be inserted at an appropriate point in the text and should be easily readable.
·      No large tables, except a detailed fraud risk framework.
·      If you are attaching any appendices, please keep them to a minimum.
·      Referencing must be APA 7th  style.

“The Importance of Financial Literacy for High School Students: Preparing for a Stable Financial Future”

High school students need to know about financial literacy because it helps them get ready for making choices about money as an adult; therefore financial education among teenagers forms the basis of their financial stability in the long run.
First of all, financial literacy is teaching students all they need to make good decisions with their money. What this means is that students should have a full understanding of different things like budgets, funds, investments and debts management so that when it comes to real life situations about finance then they can be well equipped thereby avoiding debts or even being involved in bad deals that may cost them a lot.
Also, financial education creates among students from an early age the consciousness of being financially responsible. The worth of money is one key thing taught by this program besides encouraging wise planning on how one can use limited resources available; little spending should thus become part of someone’s character if at all they want security when things become tough economically.
Moreover, given the fact that today people are exposed to various financial products and services whose terms are very complex; we need such kind of knowledge to protect us against frauds which we might not be aware of them. In other words while at school one will be taught how to scrutinize any given financial proposal until you get what it entails or if there is any hidden agenda behind its offer so that eventually nobody takes advantage over our property hence making sure we do not invest in something bound fail
In addition, it enables students take part in economic activities thereby improving their living standards through acquisition wealth creation skills This implies that even those learners who come from poor backgrounds can also have opportunity equalize themselves with others who are economically advantaged hence uplifting general welfare of different people while at the same time contributing positively towards national development.
To sum up the matter under discussion; it should be emphasized once again that financial literacy for high school students is very important because enables them make informed decisions about money matters; nurtures saving culture among young people besides protecting against exploitation in financial sector but also boosting economic participation and empowerment as well.

“Financial Analysis and Comparison of QNB and Doha Bank: A Comprehensive Report”

Hello, so for the assignment I will share a word document it includes everything you need to know please go over it step by step and include everything. I have already chosen my company from Qatar stock exchange and the company is QNB and for my competitive comoany is Doha bank I have downloaded the financial analysis for that the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and 2 ratios. For the assignment you need to do the 4 types of ratios to calculate which are: 1)profitability ratios 2) liquidity ratios 3) solvency ratios 4) investment ratios You will need to upload a word document report worth 2000 words and an excel sheet where the calculations are and graphs then you can upload the graphs on to word but I need both word and excel documents. Please avoid plagiarism Add table of content please and reference page (this is not included with the word count) As you can see on the word document there’s 5 steps include all please and don’t forget the ratios. The information on the assigment is under the document “AF4037- ASSESSMENT REPORT”
I have uploaded 2 examples of students work last year under the name “exemplary report 1 and 2” please look at it so you have kind of an idea how it should be.
I have also uploaded ooredoo excel sheet and Doha bank excel sheet, in these documents i got the financial statements from bloomberg please for the graphs and ratios do it all on the excel and then submit the excel sheets and word documents but for the graphs posts them on the word document and when theres a comparsion between both companies paste the graphs next to each other to show the comparsion
//one of my friends the tutor gave her a feedback for introduction she said:
Introduction:
Consider providing more information on the company profile (Workshop week -1), such as: location, year established, year listed, size, its market/audience, management, etc… [see Instruction (1) on “Assessment Brief”]
Suggest you add a short paragraph after introducing the company, on what is the purpose of the report. Also, you could mention who you will compare with.
Analysis:
In your ratio analysis, the 10 year analysis doesn’t clearly come across, other than on the graph. Furthermore, the possible reason or cause for any changes/differences in the results, need to be mentioned, as it is part of the analysis. See the Example Reports on blackboard, they may guide you on this.
Just a note, in your analysis, bear in mind the size of the companies. Your selected company is much larger than its peer company. And in cases where size could have an effect on the reason for certain performance, you could mention the possibility that the difference in size could have on it.//
