Title: The Modern Presidency: Executive Authority and Checks and Balances

The Modern Presidency
Leading Constitutional theorists, such as John Rohr, would argue that the Framers of the Constitution of the United States wanted to ensure that presidential power would be properly checked by the other two powers but particularly the legislative. As per Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution, which specifically provides that “… Congress shall provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States … and have the power to make all laws necessary and proper for carrying into execution, not only its own Powers but also all other Powers vested by the Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof” (U.S. Constitution, 1791). However, in more recent times, United States’ presidents, particularly George W. Bush and Barack Obama, have been accused of overstepping their executive authority.
For this Discussion, consider the last two or three administrations. Has the power of the President extended so far that it has tipped the scales in favor of executive powers, relative to legislative or judicial power? Is this a phenomenological consequence of a post-9/11 world? Or have the expectations of the President as commander in chief of the world’s most powerful nation changed since Youngstown Sheet & Tube v. Sawyer?

Building Trust Through Purpose-Driven Campaigns: A Case Study Analysis Link to the article: https://www.prweek.com/article/1681501/campaign-analysis-burger-king-uses-real-employees-anti-bullying-ads

For this assignment you are to look at some recent campaigns available here:
https://www.prweek.com/us/campaigncasestudies
Pick a campaign and tell us about it. In your post you must include:
A link to the article about the campaign
The tile of the article
A summary of the article including the company and agency names
Then, connect it to what we are learning.
Does it have something to do with trust, relationships, employees or purpose?
Did it integrate advertising/marketing and public relations?
Was this only a social media campaign or did it include media relations outcomes like newspapers and TV coverage?
Do you think this was a good campaign — what worked well and what didn’t?
A high-quality post is one in which you answer the above elements and support your opinion (for example — don’t just say this has to do with trust but say this has to do with trust because…..). Posts should also be clear, concise, original, and thoughtful, with proper English grammar, syntax, and spelling. The expected length for a high-quality post is between 150 and 200 words.
The completeness/thoroughness of your post determines your grade range for the post. Then the clarity, mechanics, application, and creativity are used to determine your score within that range.

Title: “Promoting Immunization: A Collaborative Effort between Public Health and Providers” Approaching the Physician Community: In order to get buy-in from the physician community, I would first gather data and statistics on the current immunization

You work for the local public health department in the Immunization Registry and Vaccine for Children (VFC) division. Your job is to interface with local pediatricians and primary care physicians, making sure immunizations are being properly reported and the providers that participate in the VFC immunization program are properly documenting vaccine use and patient information.
You have been briefed by the chief epidemiologist who states that a growing public complacency about the need for childhood immunizations has resulted in record low levels of registry immunizations against preventable diseases. You must put together a plan to educate the physicians of this potentially serious risk to the community and make them aware of the growing population of unimmunized and under-immunized children and what they may do to help correct this concern.
Respond to the following:
How will you approach the physician community and get their buy-in to increase immunization efforts with their patient populations?
What benefits does an up-to-date immunization registry provide to (1) parents, (2) immunization providers, and (3) the public
What educational materials, services, programs, or support can local, state, and federal public health agencies offer to the providers and the community for improving registry statistics?

“Building Trust and Transparency: A Public Relations Campaign for a Non-Profit Organization” Introduction: The purpose of this public relations campaign is to promote trust and transparency for a non-profit organization. In recent years, there has been a decline in public trust

The instructions for the assignment are indicated in the attached file. Please follow instructions exactly! Both questions for the first part have to be 300 words at LEAST. The second part is very important. You have to create an original and unique scenario to base your campaign on. I provided my midterm exam so you can see what the format for the PR campaign should look like and an example scenario/campaign. DO NOT copy that campaign/scenario or any others, it has to be completely original and unique. When doing the campaign, you have to be specific! The scenario you create should be based on public relations, not marketing. On top of that campaign HAS to be a one page media release!!! Again, everything is in the instructions and if you follow it, you should be good.
