Use a table and prepare a side-by-side comparison between a government white collar crime forensic investigator or forensic accountant and a private sector white collar crime forensic investigator or forensic accountant.
What are their job qualifications?
Who do they work for?
What are their salaries?
Do they have law enforcement authority? Can they search without a warrant? With a warrant?
Use these and other criteria to compare and contrast public and private sector forensic investigators and forensic accountants.
Then, in a narrative that is separate from the table, discuss whether you would prefer working in the public sector or private sector and why.

Title: “Creating a Community Gang Initiative: A Collaborative Approach to Addressing Gang Violence”

You will create this assignment following the Assignment Detail instructions below.
Review the tutorial How to Submit an Individual Project.
Assignment Details
The gangs in your town have become increasingly more violent over time. There have been several serious incidents of violence and drive-by shootings, an increase in drug traffic, and attempts to recruit new gang members in the local middle and high schools. In the past, your local police department chose not to partner with the community and failed to see a lasting reduction in gang activity. You know that they have recently started a new community policing program in an effort to try and address this situation.
Your supervisor at the juvenile justice non-profit organization where you work has asked you to create a plan for a community gang initiative that works with the police efforts. You recognize that increasing police patrols and gang arrests in the area are only a short-term solution. You want to implement a program that will provide a long-term solution through community and police cooperation.
Write an action plan of at least 3-5 pages that addresses this problem in the community. Your action plan should include, but is not limited to, the following:
Several initiatives that will assist in rectifying the problems, including the following:
Educational initiatives
Local initiatives
How can the negative effects of violence on children be lessened?
Do you believe that there should be a limitation on the violent video games that children are permitted to play? Explain your position.
What type of assistance will you ask for from the community as a whole?
What role will the police department take?
How will you measure the effectiveness of your plan?
Use this tutorial to help you complete this assignment.

“The Intersection of Evidence, the Constitution, and Forensic Science: An Analysis of How Amendments Shape the Trial Process”

Write at least a 5 page paper (think
of this like your final exam/project) on the different rules of evidence, the
constitution, the amendments we have covered and how these affect the trial
process and us as forensic scientists. You can write about how the different
amendments have changed the trial laws and how experts testify and why they
even have to to begin with (because of the right to face your accuser, which
includes the experts analyzing the evidence of the case).
This shouldn’t just be a summary
of what you have learnt but think about how all the pieces fir together and
tell a story about why it all is important and how it lead to the legal system
we have in place today.
The amendments that were covered in class include 4th, 6th, 8th

What forensic endence convicted them
Gary Ridgway, age 75, is an American criminal who was the country’s deadliest convicted serial killer
His murders took place in King County through the 1980s and ’90s.
Some of the victims’ bodies were dumped in the river south of Seattle, which lends the case its name.
He was married three times
He had 49 victims
Ridgway is being held without parole at Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla
In July 1982, children found the strangled body of Wendy Caulfield, 16, floating in Seattle’s Green River.
Over the next four weeks, more bodies began to surface
The King County Sheriff’s Office set up the Green River Task Force to investigate the killings.
During the investigation, the body count rose as more victims were discovered along the river and in the area around the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Over the next two years, the Green River Killer sexually assaulted and murdered more than 40 other women.
Ridgway had a total of 49 victims, all women of different ethnicities
46 identified victims
Three unidentified victims
Three missing women are still missing today, and their cases remain uncharged.

The Green River Killer swayed not only the relatives of his victims but the entire community. The methods of his capture and the effects of his killing on the community will be explored in this essay. Due to the high level of death publicity in the place, the police were able to gather a significant amount of information. Highlights of the police work and the technology they used are included. Here are some of the worst aspects of Gary Ridgway and how he was eventually apprehended. Also, we will look into some childish or original hints.
The Legacy of Gary Ridgway
The groups of slain people have endured a great deal since the tragedy is in no way their fault. The offense dealt to the area by this serial killer took an immense toll on both the groups of his slain and the area as a whole. (!)
Forensic Breakthrough: Capturing Gary Ridgway
Throughout Gary Ridgway’s probe and capture, proof was vital for labeling him as the doer of many criminal acts. Gary Ridgway also referred to as the Green River Killer, was ultimately caught in 2001, following years of evading the cops. The proof found by the authorities was extremely crucial during the court events. DNA and marks of other evidence that were found on the wrongdoing spots blamed Ridgway. A writer (Year) claimed that proof was used during the court hearings, which meant that the cops had a chance to use their technical skills to catch a murderer. An article from an undisclosed source underlined, “Current advances in tech had also impacted the case by the finish of the probe as the access of databases had helped immensely during the probe” (Author, Year).
Troubling Signs in Gary Ridgway’s Childhood
The signs in Gary Ridgway’s childhood and youth could give insight into such a deranged person. He was born in 1949 and grew up in King County, Washington, close to the future place of his acts. His problems in school – being held back two grades and graduating from Tyee High School in 1969, working for a short period for Kenworth Motor Truck Company, and joining the military – could be potential precursors. In 1983, he got on the radar of the authorities (Norm Maleng, Prosecuting Attorney, N/A) due to the vanishing of Marie Malvar. However, there was not enough proof to convict him at that time. His brief expertise led to future crimes. (Maleng, N/A)
