DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The student will complete the discussion assignment in paragraph format, answering the
questions given in the Discussion assigned week. The student will post one thread of at least 400
words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned Module. The student will answer each
question thoroughly and must use a minimum of the three required scholarly journal articles
published within the last three years. The student must then post two replies of at least 200 words
each by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of the assigned Module. Students must use at least two
scholarly journal articles published within the last three years for each reply. Any additional
scholarly sources must be published within the last five years. Scholarly support for each
question is necessary to answer the Discussion completely. Note: When doing the Christian
integration part of this assignment, students must cite Christian Counseling journals and
scholarly books. These citations count towards the citation requirements. Scholarly support will
also be needed for cultural considerations. Finally, all citations should be formatted in the most
current APA style.

Building trust: Summarize what you learned from completing the 7 Ways to Build Trust Between You and Your Team interactive. Include a detailed description of how you can apply what you learned to a career of interest to you.
Ethical challenge scenario: Create a realistic fictitious scenario depicting an ethical challenge that might be encountered in your chosen career field or a relevant career of interest to you. The scenario must clearly identify which ethical principles are at risk of being compromised. Include specific actions you can take to address the challenge ethically and professionally. Be sure to cite a relevant published professional ethics code.
Justice, Equity, Diversity and/or Inclusion: Specify the types of diversity you are likely to encounter in your chosen career or community and explain at least two actions you can take to positively impact your ability to work effectively with diverse clients, colleagues, or other community constituents. Select one of the five “R’s” of cultural humility presented in Week 3 and explain how you can apply it to your work. If relevant to your career goals or personal mission, include specific advocacy or activist actions you are committed to taking to advance social justice or human rights goals that are important to you.
Ethical leadership strategies: Propose at least two practical ethical leadership strategies relevant to your career interests to promote employee engagement and well-being. The Next Step
Following a BSc in applied behavior science, I aim to pursue a Master’s degree in clinical psychology, applied, or an unpaid internship or entry-level job in social work, behavior analysis, or clinical psychology. I will attend trade shows, seminars, and business groups to network and get mentorship. To increase my knowledge and talents, I want a master’s degree or specialized certificate. This will make me a licensed clinical expert or qualified practitioner in my field.
