After taking the test, they should personally find out what area of their health needs improvement. If you find more than I need to improve your health picture, please choose the one that is more important to your health improvement. Needless to say that you can choose to take multiple health improvement goals, however, it is not recommended. Examples that I can offer are: stop drinking soft drinks, increase your water consumption, Decrease your simple sugar intake, eat more fruits and
vegetables, etc. (Test & Contract = 10)
Students should find 3 primary research articles in the field of the selected health improvement project. It is recommended to take library workshops if you are not sure what is a primary research article. You will provide the list of these research articles in your final report. (5 credit points)
Students should keep daily records of their health improvement activity and observed effects. It can be as simple as writing a few sentences or videotaping your observed changes. (5 credit points)
Students should write 4 – 5 pages of a report (title and reference page excluded). It should be in APA format, and if you are in need of more information on APA format please visit the Los Angeles Mission College Library online.
