“The Intersection of Science and Faith: A Discussion of John Polkinghorne’s ‘Faith of a Physicist’ Chapter 9”

Prepare a paper that is no more than 1000
words, formatted so as to fit on two pages (no longer than one sheet, two
sides). The paper should be at least 75% exposition of the source and no
more than 25% evaluative reflection.
In this paper:
1.
For
75% (750 words) of your paper, identify and articulate what you took to be the
main content of the reading and pose two or more questions for
discussion.
a.
In
addition to exposition, you should specify at least one textual passage (no
longer than a paragraph) that you propose as worthy of particular attention
(indicating why). Your chosen textual passage should be printed in your paper,
but does not count toward your 1000 word limit.
2.
Finally,
for no more than 25% of the paper (250 words), you should briefly outline your
own appreciations or reservations about the reading. In some cases, you will be
presenting material that some other students have not read, so the paper should
focus mainly on distilling its content or significance for them.
Reading as basis for the paper: John Polkinghorne, Faith of a Physicist,
Chapter 9 (attached)
