Iconic McDonald’s is facing a crossroads as its business must contend with the ever-evolving consumer in the digital age. 
Your assignment is to leverage your knowledge of Strategic Information Systems, their application in a dynamic business environment, and the five Course Learning Objectives to create an outline for a plan to review the current SIS landscape tasked with revitalizing McDonald’s products, services and messaging to meet the ever-changing needs of their loyal, but demanding customer base. 
Let’s set the stage with a review of McDonald’s current landscape.
McDonald’s landscape:
Despite a massive global reach, McDonald’s faces the prospect of declining sales, particularly among younger demographics with ever-changing needs and wants.
Increased and intense competition from their fast-food counterparts, new and well-established fast-casual chains, and pandemic-fueled delivery-focused chains.
Ever-evolving customer expectations that require constant personalization of service and product offerings, coupled with heightened convenience and ethical sourcing.
The Assignment:
Present your findings in a well-structured, minimum 800-word outline consisting of the five Course Learning Objectives (CLO), each with (at minimum) three bullet points describing action items related to its respective CLO that would act as a guide for a comprehensive review by the executive team in charge of McDonald’s.  The review should include forward-looking initiatives for KYC (Know Your Customer), servicing the customer, creating new products and production efficiencies, and initiatives to continually improve financial results.

Emerging IT Landscape (CLO 4 – Appraise key emerging issues in the IT landscape – Evaluate.)  HINT: Identify, Evaluate, Recommend.
Google Cloud Assessment (CLO 5: Assess Google Cloud services as an IT infrastructure technology for business needs – Evaluate.)  HINT: Compare and report concerns and/or limitations.
