Title: Project Outline and Stakeholder Analysis for a Hypothetical Project

This Summative Assessment has two parts. Part 1 is to be completed at the end of Week 2, and Part 2 is to be completed in Week 3. Submit both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Assessment in Week 3. 
Identify and describe a hypothetical project for use in this course. The project should consist of work that will take at least 4 months’ time, have a beginning and end, and use people and resources (at least 5 team members) that will provide a product, service, or result to an organization. 
Prepare a 525- to 700-word outline of the project that includes the following: 
Identify the approach you will take to manage the project (agile, predictive, or hybrid). 
Summarize five reasons why you selected the approach.  
Evaluate how the approach will work with the organization. 
Define the expectations from the project sponsor.  
Assess what expectations the sponsor will have for deliverables. 
Summarize the objectives for the project. 
Using the project you outlined in Part 1, evaluate a competitor product or service that can be found in the marketplace. 
In 525 to 700 words: 
Analyze how this product or service aligns with the competitive landscape.  
Assess how it aligns with organizational strategic objectives.  
Create an initial stakeholder register identifying the key stakeholder roles by organization. It should include the following:  
Describe the key stakeholders. 
Evaluate each stakeholder’s level of power and influence over the project along with each one’s level of interest.  
Analyze what will happen with the project if they are not engaged and become distracted by other business needs.
