For your research paper, you will write at least 1,500 words arguing a position on one of the topics we have discussed in class, said topics relating to technology or food. You may use one of the research questions I have provided, or you may write your own research question. If you choose to write your own, you must OK it with me.
You must formulate a clear thesis, which should appear in your first paragraph. Remember that a thesis statement is a declarative sentence that makes clear the position that you intend to support in your paper.
You will be required to include information from at least seven (7) sources to support your thesis. At least six of these sources must be either peer-reviewed articles you will find in the UA library’s databases, or books or academic journals from the library’s collection. If you use any other sources (yes, some are valid), you must OK them with me.
