You will create a Manifesto for Play (500 words) around the purpose of play in the early years curriculum.  
Your Manifesto should:
Outline a particular approach to play to underpin the Manifesto in the early years.
Give the aim or rationale behind the approach that you have chosen in response to the EYFS (DfE, 2023)
Include your definition of play.
Include the principles of your Manifesto.
Explain how this links debates , theories and policy around play and the early years curriculum.
Demonstrate the effectiveness of the Manifesto in either developmental or educational terms.
Produce an attractive and legible academic Manifesto.
Make use of relevant and appropriate literature to sustain and develop a balanced and critical discussion.
Follow the University’s referencing conventions.
