Title: Exploring Media Politics: A Content Analysis of Gender Representation in News Broadcasts

Chose a topic and use the method of content analysis to finish this task. As this subject is Media Polictic, the analysis should be conducted more in the media politics perspective. The resources you use can also be posts, newspapers, broadcasts or any media.
Content analysis is a structured scientific method of the analysis of content to produce an understanding of content through numerical representations.  You will have encountered these in your everyday lives: where commentators talk about the number of advertisements for unhealthy food children would see on a daily basis, or the relative coverage of women or men sports in news broadcasts.  Based in a positivist research tradition, the most simple form of content analysis is a word frequency count.  More sophisticated studies look at comparative quantum, types of representation and content positioning.
Regardless of the approach you wish to take, you will be undertaking an analysis task and writing up your findings for submission.  This will require:
The selection of a topic of study
Initial literature review
Design of the research method
Operationalisation of the research method (what you did)
Analysis and findings
Reporting for submission
The report (submission structure)
This should be provided in a report format and will likely include:
An introduction / abstract / summary / overview
A brief literature review of the topic in questions (what is already known)
A discussion of your research method: what did you do, how did you do it (including a discussion of the materials used in the analysis)
Findings
Discussion / conclusions / limitations
