Case study: Since commencing high school this year, Amy’s academic results have dropped significantly over the past few months. She has lost interest in completing schoolwork and participates little in class. She regularly misses days from school and, when she is there, frequently isolates herself at break times and asks to go home as she is feeling ill. Welcome to your Health Psychology Observation Project! This will be your opportunity to

Observe and record how your subject is acting when they are alone, with their siblings and with
staff or parents. Are they maintaining friendships and being considerate of others. Please
provide details of each event.
Thursday- Observe your subject for the final time and write a complete report of the week’s
events. Please always include accurate and detailed descriptions including a picture of the test

Describe the current legislative framework for mental health provision and explain, in your own words, how it applies to people with mental health problems.
