We will continue to explore ways of Reading to Learn. As we explore various reading techniques, continue to pay attention to how your learning style plays a role in your reading approach (es).
Additionally, we will delve into Note Taking Techniques. Like the last two topics covered; Learning Styles and Reading to Learn, Note Taking Techniques also play a pivotal role in the learning and retaining of information process. Your learning style can influence your note taking technique/style. Your approach to reading, how you interact, and interpret what you learn can also have an influence on your note taking style. As you learn about the various ways of taking notes, identify your note-taking style and examine what influences the way you take notes. If you do not have a note-taking style/strategy, examine the various note-taking strategies presented in this week’s reading and decide on which one best fits your learning style.
