*Read Directions Carefully* This is a final plan project for my Business Policy Class. My part is the framing of the strategic issues for the company Church and Dwight. I will attach the rubric below, the incomplete final plan, along with the two strategic issues and their internal/external factors respectively. Be sure to use the final plan as a reference when completing my part of the project and follow the directions of the rubric carefully. Also be sure to include in text citations within the text as well as footnotes. Diagrams and charts will be necessary too to back up statistics with evidence.
Rubric/Directions: 
Persuasive, fact-based diagnosis applying critical findings from the internal
and external audits (SWOT) that lead to the main challenges and/or opportunities the corporation is

Strategic Issues (Including Internal and External Factors): 
Strategic Issue #1: How Church and Dwight can increase their online sales. E-commerce sales result in 15% of total retail sales as well as 60% of church and dwight’s target demographics before to stop online, which is why it is necessary for us to enhance e-commerce of different platforms to boost our online sales.
Factor: E-Commerce sales now result in over 15% of total retail sales
(163% increase since 2013)
Factor: 60% of Church and Dwight target demographic prefer online shopping, highlighting the necessity for enhanced e-commerce platforms to boost online sales
Strategic Issue 2: How we can increase our market share. We have successfully acquired 24 companies in the last 18 years but there is always room for us to grow and obtain new companies such as the acquisition of the Honest company (mention this)
Factor: Church and Dwight have acquired 24 companies in the last 18 years
Factor: 80% of industry growth in the last year was driven by acquisitions, prompting Church and Dwight to consider strategic mergers

Financial Analysis Report: Identifying Weaknesses and Strengths of XYZ Company

You need to place yourself in the role of a financial analyst who has been hired to help your firm identify its financial weaknesses and strengths.   The point of a financial analysis is to discuss the financial health and how the firm using its money.  Examine if the firm is operating efficiently in comparison to the industry.   Find out if the firm has the flexibility to invest in itself.  Note what has been changing for the firm.  You need to compare the company to its competitors. Indicate whether the firm has a competitive advantage. Make use your knowledge from your previous accounting and finance courses.  
The deliverable should be about 5 fully-written pages of text (page counts only include your analysis) plus additional pages for bibliography and exhibits. The references section/bibliography and exhibits do not count in the page count. If you find that you go beyond 5 pages, that’s fine. You must utilize and refer to your exhibits throughout the report extensively. Remember that your audience is the top executives of the company.   The data (numbers and charts) go into tables and figures, write your analysis referring to the data. It is the interpretation which matters. You need to use in-text citations to cite your sources of financial data, with a references section at the end. The report is for a business audience and needs to fit a more business style of writing.
