Within this research paper, I have been assigned to speak about a certain topic, but in further details. The topic I chose was Human Trafficking and how problematic this crime is due to the heavy absence of awareness and enforcement, which leads to the destruction of innocent people’s lives.

My title is centered, 12 pt. font, NOT bold, NOT underlined, NOT encased in quotations, capitalized correctly.
Each paragraph is indented. This is MLA format.
I have an introductory paragraph(s), well-organized body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph(s).
I have organized my information either chronologically or emphatically.
If I have done research (and this includes quoting, summarizing, and paraphrasing from the text), I have cited the information using parenthetical citations – MLA format- in my text.
I have checked to be sure all titles are capitalized using the rules of standard English.
Titles of “containers” (journal titles, names of newspapers, book titles…) are in italics (not quotation marks).
Titles of items in a container (titles of articles from a journal, book chapters, newspaper articles…) are enclosed in quotation marks, not italics.
I have checked each use of “FAN BOYS” to be sure that if my conjunction is connecting two independent clauses (sentences) I have used a comma where necessary.
I have eliminated all uses of the first and second person point of view (I, me, myself, we, our; you, your, yourself…).
I have checked for noun/pronoun agreement, especially the use of a singular noun and plural pronoun.
I have checked to be sure I have no misplaced or dangling modifiers.
There are no fragments in my paper.
There are no comma splices or run-ons in my paper.
There are no contractions or slang words in the paper.
The essay is required to have the basic requirements; thesis, body paragraphs,conclusion. More body paragraphs can be added with more reasons that help build a stronger case.
