“Genetic Engineering: From Source to Expression”

These are the criteria below for how should this essay be written.
Follow the below criteria
Source and isolation of genetic material. The type of genetic material and source should be discussed. Appropriate steps to obtain multiple copies of the gene of interest should be described.
Manipulation of genetic material and confirmatory steps. The steps required to insert a sequence of interest into vectors should be described. The steps required to obtain a clone of cells carrying the verified gene of interest in a vector should be described.
Selection of vectors and expression hosts. Consideration should be given to the type of vector used, and genetic elements relevant to the cloning strategy. The cell type to produce the recombinant gene should be described, and an appropriate method for the introduction of the vector should be detailed.
This criterion is linked to a learning outcome. Confirmation of expression and functional activity. Appropriate methodologies for the purification of the protein of interest and verification of gene and/or protein expression and activity should be described.
Logical strategy described, critical analysis. The essay should describe each step, from gene of interest to functional protein, in logical order. Key steps should be critiqued, with evidence of a creative approach.
Relevant detail and clarity. The essay should be relevant to the question, without unnecessary or irrelevant steps. The essay should justify the approaches being used.
