“Breaking the Cycle: The Impact of Financial Illiteracy on Retirement Planning and the Need for Financial Education”

Overview
You will conduct research on a chosen topic, write an academic research paper, and make a formal research presentation to the class.
Research Paper:
The research paper is to be approximately 1200 words.
You must utilize an appropriate documentation style, either MLA or APA, dependent on the topic of your research.
All sources must be cited in-text, throughout the body of your paper, as the correct documentation style dictates.
A correct bibliography must be included in your final paper.
The paper must be a formal research paper, following conventions established by the appropriate documentation style, MLA or APA. You should choose an insightful topic, something you know little about and/or something you really do want to research. Your paper will probably include some description, narration, comparison, analysis, and examples, all strategies we have worked on during the semester. In addition, your paper must use information from outside sources—research as a form of support for your topic.
Topic: Topic selection is your choice, but you must get your topic reviewed and approved. You must submit a Research Planning Worksheet for approval, which will be a separate assignment.
Sources: You must have at least SIX sources referenced and documented in your paper.
Your sources can be any type of source, but three of them must meet the following criteria:
One source must be from the Internet.
One source must be from a book or periodical from a library.
One source must be from a personal interview/survey you conduct.
.
Research Paper Submission for Evaluation:
You will submit your completed research paper for evaluation through a submission link via Turnitin (like all of your other essay assignments).
THE THESIS IVE PICKED OUT ALREADY:
Lack of financial literacy, with inadequate education and awareness about investing and retirement planning, adds to the cycle of limited savings for retirement among people, highlighting the importance of financial education.

Below are the instructions for the essay. The questions
about goals, networking, etc can have generic answers. As for the section that
asks what courses I took that were relevant to my goals, please use BUSN600 (Artificial
Intelligence in Business Practices), BUSN623 (Legal and Ethical Issues in
Management), and BUSN620 (Strategic Management). Thank you!
PROMPT:
Consider the material you have covered in Lessons and Readings and your work on your e-Portfolio artifacts this term. For example, you have reviewed and discussed: the value of ePortfolios for career planning and job search, SMART goals to create a career development plan, and transferable skills; applied your knowledge and skills to simulated business problems; reviewed the value of mentoring and practiced peer review; and created artifacts for your personal ePortfolio.
This Assignment is your summative Capstone piece. Please write a scholarly, personal reflection paper in which you examine your professional growth during your master’s program and your future plans.
For further guidance also review the Week 7 Lesson, Readings, and References linked there.
Content of your Paper: Include your thoughts on the following questions, plus other reflections you deem important:
How has your master’s program contributed to your career/life goals? Have your goals changed now since your started your program?
What were your strengths at the beginning of the program, and how did you leverage them to succeed? (List at least 3)
How will you continue leveraging these strengths going forward with your career development plan?
What were your weaknesses when you started the program, and how did you find these changed over time? (List at least 3)
For example, how did you address them?
Are they still weaknesses? Are they a concern in your career development plan?
If they are a continuing concern, what additional professional development can you do to continue growing in these areas?
Include in your paper a description of courses you took that are relevant to your reflection points (e.g. growth, strengths, career plan, artifacts, etc.); (describe at least 3).
Describe the artifacts for an ePortfolio that you created this term, the associated skills they demonstrate, and how those skills will be beneficial to an employer.
What do you see as the role of civic and social responsibility in your career plan?
How will networking, a mentor, or other personal associations play a role in the pursuit of your goals?
How will you use an ePortfolio in your career advancement?
Instructions for Structure of Your Paper:
References:
Although this paper is all about you, your work still requires research that informs your reflection.  5 references are required, with at least 2 of the 5 from scholarly sources. Most of the research you would need is included in Lessons and eReserve. but you may also find other appropriate sources.  References must be cited in text of paper, not only listed on the References list. (See Grading Rubric!)
Length:
8 to 12 pages (text, exclusive of title page and References page). Do NOT include an abstract or table of contents. (See Grading Rubric about page length evaluation!)
APA:
Follow APA 7th ed. Student Paper Format, including subheadings. See: APA Sample Paper
Components of paper:
Your paper should be organized with appropriate subheadings according to your approach to the questions in the above Prompt. It is not necessary to attach your actual artifacts to the paper. Those are in your Group Locker.

“Ensuring Employee Welfare in a High-Crime Neighborhood: A Case Study of Dollar General Dartmouth Ave Bessemer Al.”

need information on Dollar General Dartmouth Ave Bessemer Al. for employees welfare. the location is in a Bad urban development neighborhood. crime rates are high. the store has loss 200 and 300 hundred thousand dollars yearly from theft. employees don’t want to work at this location if they don’t live in the area they are attempting to rob the store while employees are working in the store. by shutting the power off to the building. this has created a problem, no one feels safe to work in the building were they feel someone will kill them. local police has told us to protect ourselves with guns. and that has taken the morale out of everyone The various uprisings of gun violence in the surrounding areas of the Dollar General Store have not only installed fear among the employees at Dollar General but also led to financial loss for the company. Daily threats and acts of a high alarm level, such as pointing firearms at staff members, have created a climate of fear and uncertainty and have had a severe impact on the welfare of employees and their morale. At Dollar General Store Location 18723 Bessemer Al. There is a need in these stores for critical measures to protect the safety of the workers. The community that’s being served is the reason for the lost of revenue in the business In addition, the emergency response protocols are the aspects that will secure the workplace. But the response time can be is delayed, the police this is an ongoing process that the police has made statements stating we need to carry handguns to work. I do feel this is an out cry to the media and press because dollar general. Business model for the company. And location is not conduced to a healthy work life or safety plan. Someone is going to get killed at this location. Similarly, better physical security infrastructure, , involvement with the local community and the police in a collective effort to control crime may increase the level of security measures initiated. This approach aims to balance safety with company engagement. This is done to acknowledge the security measures are in response to specific threats within the community, and, therefore, involving local law enforcement aims to foster a safer environment without alienating the community.
In conclusion, the security countermeasures and involvement in the community reflected comprehensive care for the welfare of employees and the responsibility towards all the company’s stakeholders. This further aligns Dollar General with the mission of serving others and solidly establishes the company’s commitment to creating a positive, safe climate for its employees and the communities it serves In doing so, it can thus proactively help avoid the ensuing financial losses, dissatisfaction of employees, and a strong brand reputation that is robust, strong, and resilient to be hindered
