The research paper must be a minimum of twelve pages, typed and double-spaced, with standard fonts and margins as described in The Chicago Manual of Style. The research paper must include cover page, notes, and bibliography. Your bibliography must include a minimum of three secondary sources, at least two of these from the J-STOR database maintained by Blackmore Library and accessible from its webpage under DATABASES.
Footnoting and bibliography must follow The Chicago Manual of Style. Additional recommendations about the research paper and Chicago Style will be found in PowerPoint Presentation 01. The research paper is due no later than midnight on May 2, the last day of classes, and should be submitted as a PDF document through this portal.
