“The Intersection of Sociocultural Knowledge and Intelligence: Analyzing the Impact on National Security”

The final paper (10-12 pages in length) will require students to apply what they have learned in the course by analyzing
the impact of sociocultural knowledge on the intelligence function. Students will be expected to begin thinking about
a paper topic which incorporates our course topics in sociocultural analysis on a particular culture, social or ethnic
group, or society of interest to U.S. Intelligence and national security early in the semester, and then provide a one-page paper proposal (with sources) so that the instructor can provide feedback and approval of the topic.
